Who sees my details?

Your details will be automatically entered into a secure database divided into the Regions around London. Only registered Agents or Mortgage Advisors within each region will be able to have limited visibility of your details in order to contact you if they have a property or advice which suits the requirements that you have specified.

Findingaplace.com have total control of this database and make decisions about who can see the data held there, allowing only reputable Agents or Advisors to sign up to the service we offer in order to assist our customers searching for accommodation to rent or buy. No Agents or Advisors have access to address details.

How secure is the information I submit?

The computer that stores this information is kept in a secure facility with restricted physical access. Our secure database and access to it is very limited via Administrator and Agent limited visibility passwords, which we monitor to ensure all Agents are adhering to our strict terms and conditions.

Who can become an Agent?

Estate Agents or Mortgage Advisors who we genuinely believe could assist you in your search for a property to rent or buy (along with advice if you requested it) are the only organisations we allow to access limited visibility of the data you have submitted to us.

All Agents applying are reviewed appropriately and must adhere to our strict terms and conditions regarding the way they handle your data and even the way they contact you, (the preferred method of contact you have chosen). Any Agent not adhering to these terms and conditions will have their access revoked and will be instantly 'locked out' from further access to our database.

Will my details be sent to any other organisation?

No, apart from the Agents or Advisors who we believe can assist you in your search for Property or Advice, we never pass your details to any persons or organisations we are not directly associated with.

I am having a problem entering my details

Our website has some validity checks to ensure we have the necessary information to assist you although we have tried to keep these to a minimum. If you are having any issues entering your details (i.e. full postcode, certain contact methods etc) and you are not entirely sure of these details, please enter any info into the box (such as the number 0), then even if you then see an information message, you should be able to by-pass this box. We ask you to be as specific as possible in order for our Agents to search on your behalf quickly and easily.
